A.L.I.V.E. stands for Assess, Leave, Impede, Violence, and Expose. These are the steps that anyone can take to more effectively respond should you ever be confronted with an active shooter situation, terrorist attack, violent attacker in the workplace, and other potentially deadly events.

About the event
This course is presented by Household HQ founder and owner: David Kohl. Â With two decades of experience in the risk mitigation and security industry, David provides up to date statistics, information, and interactive engagement to help participants get the best learning that they can receive. Â
Additionally, when presented in-person by an A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Training Instructor, participants receive firsthand instruction about how to respond if ever face-to-face with an active shooter. This type of setting also provides immediate access to a professional with a thorough understanding of these tragic incidents.
Supplemented with images and videos, the A.L.I.V.E. Certified Instructor provides a realistic, eye-opening overview of active shooter incidents, enabling participants to effect a more favorable response.
*Please note that this is a sensative topic. Videos and pictures will be shown of real life events. Â Attendees will have the opportunity to look away or leave at any point in time. There is also no "shock" style learning in this course.Â
