About the event
This American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains healthcare providers to quickly recognize life-threatening emergencies, deliver high-quality CPR, and use an AED to improve patient outcomes.
Built on the latest 2025 evidence-based guidelines, this course goes beyond cardiac arrest to cover a range of critical situations, including respiratory arrest, drowning, opioid overdose, heart attack, severe bleeding, and airway obstruction in adults, children, and infants.
Participants will complete online learning followed by an in-person skills session (or a self-directed option), combining knowledge with hands-on practice to build real-world confidence.
Upon successful completion of the online course, final exam, and in-person skills evaluation, participants will receive a two-year American Red Cross BLS certification.
