About the NorthCoast Serve & Support Campaign

Household HQ is launching the first annual NorthCoast Serve & Support Campaign, a community-wide effort rooted in service, stewardship, and preparedness. This inaugural year lays the foundation for an ongoing commitment to equip individuals and families across the Erie County region with the training, resources, and support needed to face life’s unexpected moments with confidence and dignity.

In times of crisis, preparedness is more than a skill — it is reassurance. Through hands-on lifesaving training, coordinated fundraising, and the collection of essential goods, this campaign transforms compassion into tangible impact. Every class taught, every dollar raised, and every donated item strengthens the safety net for our most vulnerable neighbors and the organizations that serve them.

The NorthCoast Serve & Support Campaign is guided by a simple conviction: caring for others requires more than good intentions. It requires action. By committing to this effort annually, we are building something sustainable — a culture of readiness, partnership, and shared responsibility — ensuring that year after year, our community is better prepared to respond, to serve, and to stand together when it matters most.

How We Support Our Community

Train

CPR & Narcan Training
CPR and naloxone (Narcan) training designed to equip individuals with lifesaving skills they can use immediately. These sessions empower people to step in and help when every second counts.

Provide

Essential Goods Drive
A coordinated collection of essential goods to meet real, immediate needs. Donations are gathered, organized, and delivered directly to our two sponsored partner organizations to ensure resources reach those they serve with care and dignity.

Support

Direct Partner Fundraising
All funds raised through the campaign are provided in full to our two sponsored partner organizations. Financial support helps sustain their lifesaving work by expanding access to resources for the people they serve.

Erie United Methodist Alliance

The Erie United Methodist Alliance (EUMA) is a faith-guided organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Northwest Pennsylvania by making it rare, brief, and one-time as Jesus would. Rooted in a history dating back to 1888, EUMA has grown from church-based outreach into a network of housing, shelter, and support programs serving families, veterans, and individuals across Erie County. Through partnerships, compassionate service, responsible stewardship, and accountability, EUMA provides emergency shelter, supportive housing, and long-term stability initiatives while working alongside the community to help neighbors secure and maintain permanent housing.

St. Patrick's Haven

St. Patrick’s Haven began in 1984 when a parishioner noticed men sleeping near St. Patrick’s parish and Hamot Hospital and shared the concern with Sister Mary Fromknecht, SSJ, helping spark the creation of a small grassroots shelter for men in need. Today, as a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwest Pennsylvania, the Haven provides up to 22 men each night with welcome, refuge, meals, and companionship, while also employing former guests whose lived experience helps guide and care for others.

Training is provided via Household HQ as a Licensed Training Provider of the American Red Cross.  Household HQ is donating time and coordinating efforts but certificates from the Red Cross are still required. To train one person in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED with Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Administration is $50.

Your donation sponsors those that care for our community's most vulnerable to get life saving training so that they can get back on their feet.  Our goal of $1,800 in training would help train 36 people in our community that work or volunteer at shelters or warming locations.

Donations will be shared publicly on social media and other locations as a way to show our gratitude.  You can learn more about American Red Cross Training from Household HQ by visiting our American Red Cross Page.
