David Kohl

With over 20 years of security and risk mitigation experience, David is the Owner and Founder of Household HQ, a business that provides security and safety solutions Beyond the Keypad. David helps clients become more security and safety conscious, by providing equipment, planning and executing scenarios, and training them in basic medical training, ALIVE Active Shooter Survival, and more.

David is an ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training Instructor, a Licensed Training Provider of the American Red Cross, and a Partner with Partnership Alliance for Safer Schools, among others. His history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence Studies from Mercyhurst University and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York - Jamestown. David has worked in public and private roles including with Allied Universal and the United States Department of Homeland Security, and in Financial Crimes Investigations for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. before founding Household HQ.
